This film was shot by my father Edward S. Romanski on Oct 21 1963. This was the opening ceremony to the Columbia Ave overpass. Then Mayor, Edward C. Dowling is seen speaking and later cutting the ribbon. The stage was erected at the south end of the overpass at Summer St. I remember riding in my dads 1950 Ford panel truck when we attended this (I'm the kid seen in the film). My dad owned Eds Radio and Television on 150th St. which he opened in 1941 and ran until his passing in 1984. I also remember the soap box derby races that were held here around this time.
